WORKSHOP INFORMATION

WHAT TO BRING

  • BACKPACK     Each child should have their own backpack as siblings may be in different groups

  • Socks     Failure to have socks will result in your child not being able to participate in the inflatable area.

  • Flip Flops/Crocks    or any shoe that is easy to put on for bathroom use

  • Change of Clothes

  • Water Bottle

  • Snack

LUNCH

LUNCH IS ONLY REQUIRED IF YOUR CHILD IS TRANSFERRING INTO OUR FUN DAY PROGRAM.

  • Lunch from home can contain PEANUT BUTTER; however we ask that you inform us during check-in so we can have your child wash their hands after lunch to remove any peanut oils.

​

  • IMPORTANT: Parents make sure to review with your child what you have packed for Lunch & Snack and where it is located in their bag/backpack to prevent any confusion.

​

  • Gym Street is NOT a peanut free facility. Children with food allergies have a designated food allergy table for lunch & snack

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

  • Space is limited and spots fill on a first come first serve basis

  • Registration is for all 4 days (unless otherwise specified), for our single day program see FUNDAYS

  • Full Payment is due at the time of the registration.

  • NO REFUNDS or Credits will be issued for cancellations or missed days due to sickness, weather related closing, state mandated shut downs, or any other unforeseen circumstances prohibiting the child from attending.

  • Tuition is non-transferable and days not attending cannot be made up

  • LATE PICK UP:  $10.00 fee will be charged for each additional 10 minutes – payment is required at pick-up

  • Option to extend the day by adding a half day from our FunDay program.

WHAT TO WEAR

GYMNASTICS

  • Leotard (stretchy shorts are optional)

  • No hanging jewelry or bracelets 

  • Socks

  • Comfortable Clothing to be worn in the inflatable area to avoid friction burn.

  NINJA                               

  • Sneakers (if the ground is wet, carry them in)

  • Comfortable clothing (nothing baggy)

  • Socks

SNACK

 

  • There will be one snack break

  • Option to bring or purchase snacks & drinks from our cafe 

  • It is helpful to pack a healthy snack that will fuel their bodies 

  • We are not a peanut free facility 

  • Snack money should be left in a baggie in your child's backpack

  • Let us know if your child has an allergy during the check-in process

SICK CHILD

Please be courteous to others and do not send your child if they are sick.

 

GymStreet reserves the right to send any child home who display any of the following symptoms:

  • Common Cold

  • Severe cough

  • Sore throat

  • Runny nose 

  • Fever

  • Eyes that are red, swollen, crusting or draining

  • Earache

  • Diarrhea

  • Severe headache or pain

  • Skin rash, unless diagnosed by doctor as non-infectious (obtain note from doctor)

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Head lice (please inspect hair carefully).

DROP OFF

  • Check in down to hall each morning to receive your child’s security number (numbers change daily)

  • Your child will receive a colored bracelet with their security number    (red bracelets indicate an allergy or medical condition in which the counselor’s need to be aware of)

  • Check-in may take a few minutes so plan accordingly

  • Pick-up is done at the same place you dropped off.

  • Upon Pick-up you will need the security number for convenient check out

  • Pick up without the security number requires a picture ID and the name must appear in our system (you may add up to two contacts through our online portal) – NO Exceptions.

PICK-UP

ADDITIONAL INFO

 

  • Cell phones are not permitted while your child is under the care of GymStreet USA. (exceptions are made for extenuating circumstances. Arrangements are required PRIOR to the day of attendance. 

  • NO recording or picture taking by students or parents will be permitted at any time.

  • Electronic games are not permitted

  • Label all belongings, we are not responsible for lost, misplaced or stolen possessions

  • Remind your child that all their belongings should go INTO their backback when not in use.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

 

  • All children should treat one another, staff and property with respect.

  • All children should act and behave in a way which does not endanger, intimidate or interfere with the participation of others.

  • All children should respect others rights to privacy.

  • No physical contact (fighting, pushing, piling on, etc.)

  • BULLYING, Name calling, teasing and offensive language will not be tolerated.


DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURE

  • 1st infraction: Verbal warning

  • 2nd infraction: Written incident report

  • 3rd infraction: Parent will be called & suspension from camp (no refund or credit will be issued)

  • 4th infraction: Expulsion from GymStreet’s Day Program
